META-BRAIN
Magnetoelectric and Ultrasonic Technology for Advanced Brain Modulation
The aim of META-BRAIN project is to achieve a precise spatio-temporal control of brain activity through the use of magnetoelectric or ultrasonic technology. META-BRAIN’s semi-invasive approaches could impact the treatment of various prevalent medical conditions associated with altered electrical activity in neuronal tissue. META-BRAIN will generate novel insights in brain dynamics and facilitate neurotechnological advances for the recording and precise control of neural activity in physiological and pathological conditions
