Transparency, as a tool to guarantee the good performance and impartiality of institutions, characterizes the public administration in Italy and is governed by rules, directives and guidelines issued over the years. 

The section Transparent Administration hitherto organized according to the provisions of Legislative Decree n. 33 - March 14th, 2013, as amended by Legislative Decree n. 97 – May 25th, 2016  (GU Serie Generale n. 132 del 08/06/2016).
