Electronic Design and Measurement Infrastructure
This infrastructure is devoted to the realization, test and characterization of electronic devices and circuits for communication and industrial applications. It is equipped with Vector Network Analyzers, Signal Synthetizers and Analyzers operating at radio and microwave frequencies, for the characterization both of “naked” on wafer devices contacted by coplanar probes on dedicated probe station both of coaxial cable connected circuits. It also boasts power supplies, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes and voltage and current sensors able to handle the needs of many applications ranging from DC to tens of GHz. Nonlinear circuits and power electronic converters characterization measurements can be performed with tight temperature control and detecting any EMI interference in the DC ‑ 30 MHz frequency span, allowing for the prototype development of any CAD designed circuits.
