Computational Bioelectromagnetism
The in-silico laboratory “Computational Bioelectromagnetic” of the IEIIT CNR is currently equipped with high performance workstations to handle large-scale problems, software for electromagnetics computations (SEMCAD-X by Speag Schmid & Partners Engineering AG, Zurich e SIM4Life by Zurich Med tech), cutting-edge computational anatomical models of different ages and gender (six children and adolescents aged from 5 to 14 years old, four adults, pregnant women at 3, 7 and 9 months of gestational age) from Virtual Population (made available from IT’IS Foundation for research purposes), software codes for EMF stochastic dosimetry and statistical modeling of EMF exposure using machine learning techniques.
