With the kick-off meeting on Jan 30-31 2023, the project PRAESIIDIUM “Physics informed machine learning-based prediction and reversion of impaired fasting glucose management” has officially started. The project PRAESIIDIUM is funded by the European Commission within the framework of the Horizon Europe Programme – Research and Innovation Actions. The project full title is “Physics informed machine learning-based praediction and reversion of impaired fasting glucose management”, and the project ai mis to develop a novel tool to estimate and reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes in a personalized manned. The consortium receives 5.808.740 euro from the European Commission for a project duration of 36 months, from Jan 2023 to Dec 2025. The consortium includes 11 partner from Italy, Austria, Belgium, Latvia, Sweden, and Switzerland. CNR-IEIIT takes part in project PRAESIIDIUM as a partner and, in collaboration with CNR-IAC, will develop personalized models to characterize the risk and prevent type 2 diabetes.
