Emilio Paolini, a PhD student associated with IEIIT from the Pisa campus, has been selected to receive a very important travel grant to attend the prestigious European Conference on Networks and Communications (EUCNC) & 6G Summit.
The grant will allow Emilio to present his work "Photonic-accelerated AI for cybersecurity in sustainable 6G networks," in collaboration with Luca Valcarenghi (TeCIP Institute - Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna), Luca Maggiani (Sma-RTy Italia) and Nicola Andriolli (CNR- IEIIT).
The contribution will focus on the combined use of photonic technologies and artificial intelligence to create sustainable security systems for 6G communication networks.
This is a recognition that demonstrates the importance and value of IEIIT's innovative research in the academic and scientific community.
