Adriano Valenzano is Director of Research with CNR since 1991 and the head of the Computer Engineering and Networks (CE&N) team at CNR-IEIIT. He is the recipient of the 2013 IEEE IES and ABB Lifetime Contribution to Factory Automation Award. He was also awarded for the best paper published in the IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics during 2016, and received the Best Paper Awards for the papers presented at the 5th, 8th, 13th, 15th and 16th IEEE Conference on Factory Communication Systems.
